okay i hate EV's as much as the next guy but it's not hours.

Ideally you only charge the lithium batteries to 80% or lower... If it was possible you'd keep that battery charge as low as possible.

If you fully charge lithium batteries you damage them permanently. That's why your phone battery shits the bed after 5 years.
