I thrifted a major haul of dolls to sell on ebay from my local Goodwill this week! We're going to unbag and see what dolls I found and what they are worth. Mostly Monster High but some Ever After too.

I usually hate resellers but you seem like someone who genuinely appreciates the dolls and your not too greedy or unrealistic with the pricing.

This is so sad. Scalping and reselling for high prices is such a problem in the doll community and it's so awful when someone from outside the community joins in too.

I agree with what you do for re selling. I know the work and detailing that goes into it as well as hours of searching, research, photography, matching, pricing and deduction ebay takes. Real people who value this don't complain about the price. If it's too much move on and find one on your own is what I do.

A few years ago, I tried reselling American Girl dolls. It got complicated, and there was a lot to it. I made a little bit of money on a couple of dolls, but the work it took and everything else that went into it made it not worth it to me.

You have to put a lot of time and work into reselling if you want to come out ahead. I'm not a hater.

I look for bargains, but I'm not trying to resale. I just want to collect. I'm not an ordinary collector nether. I simply like whatever I like and am simply motivated by just having what I like.

Since I don't plan on reselling in not as concerned about how rare or hard to find a doll is. If I get lucky, I'm good. If I just have a box of nice dolls that are more common in still happy.

I literally own so many of the orginal dolls and to be honest I would never go and sell them for outrageous prices hell I sold a Howleen wolf for $15 basically brand new with the accessories just not in the box. Thats what I bought her for 5 years ago in box. I did that for a kid cause they wanted it and I wasn't gonna charge them $25.

Monsters High dolls are so confusing to me because of all the repeats for different shows and movies. That Jinafire is a perfect example, I don’t know that I would have caught that she was a Target exclusive. I learn from these videos every-time. Thank you!

You can resell for as much as you want. You invest time, money and work in finding those dolls and also cleaning them etc. If others want cheap dolls, they should travel all around their states then... They do not have any rights to complain.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge and I just subscribed. I bought a bunch of monster high and ever after and this is very helpful before I list them on my ebay store. Having fun sifting thru all the accessories but really not for everyone..its actual work!!

I have SO many Monster High dolls in plastic totes. My now 16-year-old daughter was obsessed with them ten years ago. I always assumed they weren’t worth anything unless they’re complete (even their diaries, pets, brushes, and stands).

I have found Gloom and Bloom Jinafire in a charity shop in excellent condition virtually complete. I could not believe it! Of course, I will not sell her! 😉🙂
I can't believe that people would pay that kind of crazy prices. I definitely would not! I have been collecting MH from the beginning. I have most of the dolls in your haul and Raven Throne coming in her original outfit complete also found in a charity shop. It is amazing what I used to find. Recently, MH have been difficult to find in great condition.

Loved the dolls! You're really lucky, in my area it's close to impossible to find even basic dolls with clothes on much less their accessories. They are all beautiful, I think Vandala is my favorite... or maybe Toralei...hmmm...Jinafire??? I can't decide, they are all lovely!

I loved bratz dolls when I was growing up. I wish I still had mine but we lost my whole room when I was a freshman when our house flooded. 😭 That vandals doubloons doll is really cool!

I really think you should save some of the bags for people who won’t be reselling them at unobtainable prices. People who don’t have lots of money exist, and it’s really selfish to take the whole lot.
