We are so swallowed up by all the daily activities and with things society tells us to do, that we forget who we really are. I felt like making a fairytale for adults, to make people aware that you can actually still be like a child. It’s the best feeling!

𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝘃𝗶𝗮
Trip to Latvia started with a question from a fan why there wasn’t a Trip to Latvia yet. I started looking into some Latvian music and came across a musician named Haralds Sīmanis. His music got me so inspired, that I drove to the studio that very same evening and put the whole song together then and there!

I tried to get in touch with Haralds to see if he was okay with releasing the track. It was a long search finding him, but I didn’t give up. After loads of investigating and asking around, after more than a year I got in touch with Guna (a band member of ‘Carnival Youth’). She really appreciated my version of the track and put me in touch with Haralds. He was also really excited about my version of the track and luckily was open to record the videoclip together in Latvia.

During the time in Latvia we got to understand that Haralds is truly a beloved man in his country, even a national folk hero. Everyone welcomed us with open arms and because of him we were allowed to film at secret and normally off-limits locations. I can say without a doubt that experiencing this with him at these incredible venues, makes for one of the most beautiful moments of my life. And I’m grateful you can now experience it too 🙏🏻

The Voice of Haralds Sīmanis is marvellous, unique and simply made to take you off to a journey. The original Song itself – Ezers (meaning: Lake) – an absolute gem with a only barely containable power underneath it's beautiful, calm surface. And the Doctor comes along, senses this power, and casually drops an equivalent amount of his own power on top without breaking this calm and quiet surface. Then takes the listener and Sīmanis by the hand to take of to a journey through the very soul of Latvia.

Two & a half year ago I was on a trip to the northern cap by motorbike as a socia & drove via Latvia. As a fan of electronic music vibes as well as some good base I also listened to Dr. Peacock's musical trips & enjoyed every landscape I got to witness during the trips. We also stayed overnight at a kind & heartwarming family's place in the heart of Latvia & this song really gives me the vibes back to this time. Like it was my most favorite of this whole journey & Dr. Peacock just like put this all together in this masterpiece for me. Back again after some time. Haralds Simanis is like the voice of a Angel so beautiful and mystical. I really like Dr. Peacock not because I love Frenchcore but because with this "Trip to.. " series he really unites people even when the genre or language isnt the same its just so beautiful and kinda makes me emotional in most cases. The new one to Scotland does the same so beautiful <3. My heart bleeds for this world where people are scared of one another where I just find the beauty in being different and yet feel so connected(cultures).
