I have embroidered a leather jacket using organ leather needles and ended up slicing the leather about an inch. Do you recommend using an adhesive of some kind or just use a 75/11 needle? I forget the logo but basically round like a button with text. It is going on the sleeve, and there is an embroidery pocket. Also using magnetic hoops. My boss picked up some Shoe Goo but not sure how to use. Perhaps sticking with the 75/11 needle will suffice. I think it was a higher stitch count logo, but unsure (10, 000 stitch).

Do these same tips apply for faux? (pleather, pul) I’m planning to go into leather eventually, but currently working on some faux projects first. There is VERY little information on the faux, I’ve had some success, one or 2 failures. Stabilizers being the main issue I think.
