After many years of collecting puzzles I decided to try a twisty puzzle. 4x4x4 Checker Board is the first twisty puzzle in my collection, I don't even have a Rubik's cube or it's variations.

I have been doing Rubik's cubes for years and I want to say WELL DONE. I know this isn't one of those puzzles were you can just pick it up and solve it using logic. This is more like putting in many hours of revision for an exam !! Really cool bonus patterns at the end too !! XD

I'm terrible at twisty puzzles but it's really neat to see you solve it.

Wow, nice! I can solve the rubiks cube but can't fully visualize the moves needed to move the colours around... well done!

I don't know if there is a way to scramble because there are only two colors. It's easier with 6 colors. I did 3x3x3 Rubik and now I'm doing the 4x4x4 and my solving is totally different from yours.

Great idea to start with half and half... it looks more intuitive to solve than a standard 4x4. I solved the rubiks cube when it first came out, i think i was 10 🤔😆😆

Nice puzzle 😁
Perhaps you can try solving a 2x2x2 or 3x3x3 rubiks cube?

Seems to be confusion between solving and speed cubing. The former is figuring how to manipulate into the solved state. The latter is using memorized steps to go various states until in the solved state. Figuring out how to solve is quite different from memorizing a solution and being able to speedily apply it.
