Max and Feliks are like the dynamic duo (batman and robin) of the cube. Feliks is truly a "good person" to support and share the stage with Max. Some fathers are proud of their son cause they can throw a football and end up the quarterback. In this new day and age, Max is like Peyton Manning (undeniably awesome). A sport or competition can be almost about anything. Money and popularity is just a buildup process. Winning isn't EVERYTHING. Being a good person is worth more. Could Feliks become the first official spokesperson to the sport? Feliks came first, so he gets to be batman. Robin turns into "Max Nightwing" (still very cool) and takes up the spot light (afterwards) when batman's back is broken by Bane. Thank you Netflix for the attention to this.
