When I went to buy the C15 the sales girl kept trying to get me to buy the 25. I stuck to my guns and bought the 15. So glad I did.

I love the C25. They sent me a sample with a purchase I made and I fell in love. It's actually fading my acne dark marks which was very shocking to me. You know it's real because I purchased the full size that's not CHEAP!

the same concept applies to pretty much all skincare ingredients tbh like imagine slathering your face in 10% retinol or something **shudder** studies on the efficacy of these ingredients are usually done on smaller amounts anyways (ie. niacinamide has been studied to work best at around 3%) so don't be fooled by marketing gimmicks and consult with a derm if you are confused! cosmetic chemists are also amazing sources of info on social media.

btw: my fav vit c product is the strivectin "super-c retinol" which combines it with retinol. two amazing ingredients in one and its safe to use (WITH SUNSCREEN!!!) in the daytime. the results I've seen are amazing, and I highly recommend it!

I used the C15 for years and loved it, but when I increased the concentration of my tretinoin from 0.025 to 0.05%, ascorbic acid started irritating my skin. I recently started their derivative formula with glutathione and so far I like it. Evidently they're reformulating the C15 to be less irritating, but I couldn't use the last two bottles I bought so I'm hesitant to try again.

I have sensitive skin and like the Timeless Vitamin C E Ferulic serum because it comes in both 20% and 10% formulations, and 10% is enough for me. Plus it’s packaged in an airless pump bottle so it doesn’t have the oxidation issue of dropper bottle brands. Finally, it’s so much more affordable than Skinceuticals.

Not a chemist, but maybe they went higher with the second one because it is in a silicone base which is not as good at delivering Vitamin C as water is. On the other hand looking at their 20% niacinamide is like 🤷‍♂🤦‍♂

The C15 made my skin peel off, I can’t imagine if I had tried the higher concentration.

I get the more is not better, but i am not using adapalene 3 times a week, and feel like even when I was only using it 2times a week, I don’t see a huge difference. So should I stick to 2 times or 3 times (given my skin tolerates both, with very slight improvement on the 3 times/wk schedule). I just not sure if the 3 times/wk routine will give benefit over longer period of time over the 2 times.

Can you explain why the C15 is better? I’ve been using C25 for 6 weeks now and love it but I’m wondering if I should switch
