Dear Mufti Menk! I am a new Muslim, 4 months ago since my Shahadah. Your videos have helped me so much Alhamdulillah, and I am also a yearly sub on Eman Academy, so you’re a big part of my daily life.
While watching this video my tears was almost like a waterfall, and I actually had to pause it and go pray Dhur/Zuhr and during my Salat, all of them the Sunnah and Fard, I felt so pure and so close to Allah swt. Now I know everything comes from Allah, and that He alone is worthy of worship and that nothing or no one can ever compares with Him.
And yes I know that 100%!
However I need to say Jazakallah kheiran to you for bringing me closer to Allah swt. I’ve never commented before, but both as a victim and as a former drug addict (as a teenager I did a lot of stupid things, and I am the only Muslim in my entire family, so…) this video just made me write to you that I am so very thankful for all your good work. Your videos are truly inspiring and helps me in so many ways you have no idea. In my country, Norway, where I am born & raised & live, the negativity towards Muslims is just so intense and even my bestfriend is member of an organisation that wants to stop Islam from growing or having any effect in Norway. So from all sides there’s someone laughing and making fun of my faith; Islam. You’re videos have saved me so many times, by the mercy of Allah swt of course. But I want you to know that you have helped me in a way I never thought was possible. Every doubt that shaytan puts in my head gets erased and replaced by a stronger and stronger iman. You’re a great speaker. (Sorry I do have ADHD, so my words are all over and I am truly sorry about that) I love your cartoons as well. The Imam’s and Sheikh’s in my life are busy with checking out and validating boys/men because I am getting married in shaa Allah, I am super scared and shy and nervous because I am new Muslim as well as very limited knowledge, but one Sheikh thought I had been practicing for seven years due to my knowledge, and your videos are a huge source for where my knowledge is coming from so shukran lak. You make me cry almost every day because you remind me not to loose hope in the mercy of Allah. I’ll always be grateful for your guidance and uplifting speaches as well as your funny sides. And I especially love the way you describes how a marriage should be.

This really helped me. If Allah can forgive us for the wrong that we've done then surely we can forgive our brothers and sisters and not hold their past against them. We all have a past and none of us are better than the other. I'm very thankful for this lesson this evening. This really made me take a double look at myself. May Allah bless and keep you all...
