Character models were rebuilt from the ground up to enable deeper customisation than <9.3. My guess is they'll being more detail back when they're doing more polishing.

My favorite VR game, turning what I imagine in my head while playing pancake dungeon crawlers into real gameplay. I'm super happy with this update and I can't wait for 1.0. Reading the roadmap and what they've said in the past, U12 is the final brick for the foundation and 1.0 is going to bring the real game to us. New items, armors, a new spell, a skill tree, shops, and a whole new dungeon to crawl. I hope they can pull it off

it seems alot of people are misunderstanding how swimming works, the reason why you think it's inconsistent is because if you have any grip or tripper held swimming won't work, so it can be pretty challenging on the index (as i guess you're using) but you'll get used to it, just make sure to never grip or trigger while swimming

In one of the dungeons I did you had to swim underwater to keep going. Thought I was stuck until the enemy was in the water. Hard but pretty cool water fights.

The best Devs VR has to offer. Kospy and team, Baron, all great people and have low key led the proliferation of NEW physics interactions in VR since released... too few know how influential this game /sandbox has been. Half life alyx and Boneworks wouldn't have been half of what it was if Blade & sorcery didn't break that ground way before. Much love to the modders who push that envelope even more, and make warpfrog look from a new angle. <3

It is too bad these deep dives are needed, it is the 2010 Cell phone gaming dump all over again. I sure hope we get over this "mobile" game obsession soon. it has help up the industry for two years now. Probably two more yet.

The developers stated right from the beginning that they wont downgrade the PC version for the quest, Its the main reason why the Quest version is called Blade & Sorcery: Nomad and not just Blade & Sorcery, it was to set the Quest version as a separate game with downgrades compared to PC, maybe even cut content. It wouldn't be fair of them not to implement something that's on PC to Quest if it was the same game but they can be different because they are 2 separate games. Also I hated the physics on the table its been doing that moon like gravity for the longest time!

I am so goddamn tired of games being downgraded for quest. Or PC versions being outright abandoned. I'm glad it's rather limited here, but the characters looking like mannequins is AWFUL and there's just no need for it.

if you make your hands into a fist they dont trigger the movement underwater, so you can use that when bringing your hands back

I don’t think it’s quest fanboys, I think it’s because when you watch flatscreen gameplay, it just looks worse than when your in VR.

I really dont unsderstand the idea of universally downgrading the graphics for the sake of performance on one system. If PS4 games can do crossplay with PC games, with the PC version pushing better graphics settings, this shouldnt be a thing. What should happen is a reduced amount of graphical settings for the quest version (ie, capping the model detail at the PC equivilant of medium instead of high or ultra). This would keep the quality on PC while improving the performance on Quest.

Playing the newest update myself, there's a few things I hope they add in the furture. 1 better human models and animations, 2, actually being able to slash with a sword rather than just stab, 3 more foliage & foliage interactions.

The problem: The humans already looked in 9.3 on PC very outdated!!! - and should have get a visual update in 2019. Now they downgraded them in 2023 😢 - the Quest holds back VR Gaming, it's ruining the reputation of VR in the PC/Console Community and distroies our old VR Experiences. I hate Meta for throwing us back to 2015!
