Southern Moreton Bay Part 1

I thought I would do a short 15-minute video on some of the things to see and do around the southern end of the bay. It's not intended for the old hands but I hope those that are new to boating and new to the area will be able to get something out of it.

I’ve never really thought of myself as a talkative bloke and my wife confirms this, but I got 10 minutes into the video and realised that I had barely touched on the things I wanted to mention.

So, I cut this off at just over 10 minutes and I now plan to do a series of videos on the subject. I wouldn’t presume to predict how many videos it will take to cover all there is to say about the southern end of the bay but I will try to get one posted every couple of weeks, with other videos in between.

Thanks, really helpful videos. Really helpful the fuel usage and time guides from boat ramps for novice boat fisherman like myself.

Another good video my friend. The southern part I am extremely familiar with abs have fished for the past 20 years I guess. Maybe if we get in touch somehow I will show you my version of the Logan River system. It’s a very underrated system. You can get secure monitored parking to leave for an overnight trip plus maybe the best service at a ramp anywhere for only $10

Lieutenant Matthew Flinders is far more important than James Cook when it comes to exploring and mapping Moreton Bay. By the way, I fished the Pin to Logan 30 years ago and it was rubbish back then. Don't waste your time.
