I'm not even halfway through the video, but it's so fascinating to see Dr.K slowly disarm Ludwig, even when Ludwig started giving involuntary reflexes to guard himself. Dr.K was able to do so in a way that could point Ludwig to what he was doing without being insulting. Kudos to him for being able to maneuver so efficiently, but doing so with empathy. And kudos to Ludwig for being open and allowing himself to be vulnerable.

This video is actually really interesting. As a person who goes to therapy, this is a real eye opening experience. It's not often that you'll see another person open up about their problems. I do really like this.

My father passed away a couple months ago due to cancer. For context, I’m 20 years old so definitely more developed and capable to handle trauma than a ten year old, but still it sucked. Actually, today his obituary was posted in the newspaper in his hometown. Anyways I found this conversation between you and Dr. K extremely relatable and that we both had a very similar coping experience with the situation that we were dealt with. It was easy to close my eyes and superimpose myself into the discussion and pretend that I was the patient. Honestly, this conversation helped me a bunch and helped ease some of my pent up sadness. I already planned to go see a therapist at my uni because its free and why not, but after watching this, it solidified my decision and gave me some urgency to make an appointment. Thank you!

All jokes aside, it breaks my heart that guys like Ludwig carry this kind of "I don't deserve taking up a therapist's time" sentiment with them. It's not a matter how who has it worse-- everybody deserves therapy. Ludwig's problems are just as important as someone severely depressed; he would deserve therapy even without his heavy history, and so would all of us.
