This took me a while this evening, and for a long time initially, I was wondering how it was even possible.

It started clicking when I figured out that you *must* make it past the robot 22 seconds into the run, otherwise you *will not* make it in time for the gold. And it’s tight even if you go as fast as possible up to that point.

Practice that first bit of the run until you’ve learnt the patterns (particularly in the first tunnel) and can make it reliably. I needed two slide jumps during the very first room, and one more as I approached the first hanging bars.

Once you’ve got that nailed, the rest of the run is still tight, but doable when everything finally goes right. I did 1:01.56 and I’m never trying it again.
