Shutting Off Proxmox Cluster | Downgrading Homelab

Proxmox has been great, and I still plan to use it until my Docker setup is complete, but I no longer need to have a cluster after deprecating many of my VMs that were no longer in use or just not important. This means I can go from a 3-server and 1-filer system to a 1-server system on consumer hardware. Maintenance should be much simpler going forward.

When running a home lab 24/7, one quickly comes to realize that *more* is not necessarily *better*. I am running my entire home lab using 3 Mini PCs and two Pi 4Bs. Total power consumption is around 70W, and I spend a couple of hours per week on tweaking it.

I run 2 node clusters with S2D storage pools on each server. Failover is great, without needing a separate storage server.

Nice video. Piratical. I have a small tower server (proxmox), and a synology. I want to down size even my small desktop server to a new NUC.

I literally just bought 3 nucs to run a proxmox cluster. Very cheap and powerful.
