Katya Rybalkina was born in a small town and always dreamed of moving to Moscow to find a job in a large publishing house, however, her mother’s illness made her goals impossible to achieve. Before her death, she managed to tell Katya about her real father and asked her to find him. After the funeral, Katya pieces together the story of her mother and father Vladimir Shestakov, finding enough to follow him in Moscow and fulfill her mother’s last wish. By bad chance, Shestakov’s only son gets injured in a car accident, and Katya is blamed for that. A glimmer of hope to fulfill her biggest dream — to tell her father and brother about her existence — is fading, but... Is it gone forever?
