Yeah I was in the army for 6 years and served in Afghanistan. If we ever heard of someone raping anybody, anywhere, that soldier would face some social justice to say the least.

There where a couple of cases of rape in Afghanistan. They all ended in court marshal... no way mass rapes were occurring.

The rape of Nanjing quite possible the single worst case of warcrimes ever committed in modern day. Men were killed on mass, babies were totured and 2/3rds of all women in the city were raped including girls as young as 8. The crimes were so heinous a special refuge in the center of the city was made by a SS officer of all people who personnall6 escorted people to safety using his position as protection saving some 1000 people from the inhuman treatment of the japanese.

As someone that deployed and served and as a woman, I agree that claim is BS. Our guys weren’t out there raping the locals. In fact, they were more horrified of the conditions local women, boys and girls faced in Afghanistan and Iraq. One of my SGMs told me of a time a local “leader” was going to kill his young wife bc she wasn’t becoming pregnant. The local man said he wanted the U.S. Army Medic to examine her. The medic spoke with the woman and he learned that the man didn’t know the difference btw v and a. He thought the a was for sexual intercourse and that she urinated from v. That man was going to kill his wife because he didn’t understand basic anatomy of women. Most likely because he had been raping young boys as he was probably raped in the past. US Army has problems for sure, but this isnt one of them.

As a US army veteran who fought in Afghanistan, I can tell you that if someone would have even tried to do something like that, that guy would’ve been beaten by his own platoon and he would’ve been court marshalled and thrown into prison. We also had very little to no contact with the civilian women. We also never were allowed to veer off alone. I don’t know where this guy is getting his information from but it’s false information.
