This is probably one of the most hauntingly beautiful yet tragic and unnerving tracks from the entire series. The feeling of floating, but being pulled slowly down, not being able to breathe, as you emerge to catch a breathe you’re pulled even further down. This episode is my favourite, and has some of the best acting I’ve ever seen from British actors.

My favorite episode from Black Mirror, which says a lot. The ending was so upsetting but also satisfying at the same time because he ended up being right about everything. This soundtrack just amplified everything, amazing

Liam wanted to forget about her, it's not his fault... I felt so bad for him towards the middle when he figured it out and the truth was revealed... He loved her so much he wanted too forget the pain she caused him. That's why he cut out the very thing that held memories, he wanted too loose them. The soundtrack that went along with such an emotional ending fit perfectly with it. I'm still emotional over this episode dude. The entire memory of you I believe it was called.

This soundtrack consumes you. It makes you want to just think and wonder about your life.

The brain has short and long term memory. We all know this, however, it is important to note that there is a reason that we are unable to hold on to every memory.  It becomes overwhelming for the brain and frankly useless to hold onto. The brain would become inefficient, much like the main characters, much like most of society with the grain. We hold on to things that we don't need. The grain is ultimately useless, tempting people to reply things over and over again, living in memories that are no longer relevant to what is happening in the present. We are meant to focus on the present, we are capable of finding out what is real and what is not on our own. In a way, that is what this episode suggests. We shouldn't hold onto to the past and analyze it over and over again. If we do, we become obsessed, holding onto moments of happiness and living day by day with lack of communication, and what it means to be in the present, to just "be."

The sad part is I think at the end of the day he regretted having the technology to scrutinize things ... yeah he was right but did it make him happy? He hated how he became the insecure boyfriend and the fact that he ripped out the grain shows how much he wanted to get rid of the 24/7 recording of his life.

Hated Liam at the start and by the end I felt so bad for him! I hope technology like this never happens the whole premise of your life being viewable and easily accessible by anyone is haunting! then again in Liams case..

Hands down the best black mirror episode. The emotion is unreal, I’ve watched them all and there are more shocking ones but this truly stands out as the most tragic and poignant.

this song is so perfect in every single way. its deep and emotional with the variant tones and the piano parts act like a twisting or distortion of the synchrony, representing the distortion of his point of view of whats real
