My issue with all of this is that the fan base and the Cowboys upper management picking and choose who they will allow to be around past their prime. we have watched LVE start get most of the wraps when we know he was no longer a good player. We watched Tyron Smith play to the point where he didn’t even have to practice and this year we look at Cook and we know he’s not the same player, but yet he still are number two at this point in his career can be more effective than all of them and yet we still bang on the table for the team to get rid of him or not him the double standard is ridiculous

Zeke has the weight and muscle to get across the opponent defense in the red zone. The other running back just don’t have the muscles to jump across 250 lbs defenders.

No disrespect to the coaching staff, but short yardage and red zone rushing attempts should be the plan, period. Zeke is trying to be nice about it, but as a fan of this team, I agree with him. He shouldn't be the, in all be all, but he can get the tough yards for you. Hunter could learn from his example and be a FB who can teach the next RB next year. It took CeeDee last year to point stuff out to Mike last year, maybe this will be a good thing for the team going forward.

If they go with two WR's, a TE, put the big FB Luepke in as your lead blocker, the run game will be more successful. Dallas always feels the need to go with 3 WR's on every play. Change it up some, with 2 TE's, 2 WR's & a RB. If you audible to a pass play, that's 5 positions that can catch the ball. McCarthy running them old plays from 2008. C'mon Man
