If the amount of animals you're moving "necessitates" the use of tubs, you're not placing the wellbeing of the animal first. Sure a larger enclosure is harder to clean, but convenience shouldn't be placed over the wellbeing of the animal. We need to move towards providing better quality for the animals rather than the sheer quantity we can pump out. Thatll mean breeders need to charge more, but I think that's worth it. Thatll also mean these living beings are valued more and not as something to be bought, collected, and stored away.

I breed 300 snakes a year. Each one has a 25 gallon to 100 gallon enclosure.
If I can do it, Kinova can do it.
They just choose not to because they are greedy all about money and making EVERYTHING, so no one else has a chance because they mark it cheaper than yours, or have 7 nicer looking ones in backup.

There is an over population of certain reptile species which are often the ones bred in tubs, animals being euthanized or tossed from inadequate home to inadequate home, and breeders still think its okay to use tubs to make things quicker and more efficient? Charge more for your animals, or maybe live with the fact that some animals you cannot making a living off selling without neglecting the animal.

Industrial level breeding, like factory farms for chickens, pigs.
Purely for profit and Big chain stores.
Snakes live in miserable conditions purely to pump out eggs and fuel the commercial PET industry - living toys for kids.
I prefer my country's process, licences for most species. This stops the fads and impulse buys - you want a basic snake you have to get a licence for it. Minimum enclosure sizes are stated. High maintenance and poisonous species aren't available until you've had previous experience on the basic licence.
This has absolutely weeded out people who see reptiles as an amusing statement or for clout. A 10 yr old who sees a bearded dragon in pet store can't just buy off the shelf and stick it in a 10gal tank.
Our laws are designed for two main things, the welfare of the animal and to prevent wildlife poaching.
So while there are some small businesses that use racks, the most common source of reptiles here are hobbyists and reptile enthusiasts. People who see reptiles as living creatures not just another cash cow.

Heres the difference. Breeders vs keepers. I breed. For yrs I wouldn't use racks systems. Then I learned. Not my fav way to keep a snake. But when u have 100+ it's a necessity. Pet keepers should not use rack systems imo. Why would u?
