Who is Calvin Ramsay? Liverpool have made a move for the Aberdeen defender for a rumoured fee of £5 million (that could rise to £8 million).

A lot of money for an 18 year from Scotland. So why have Liverpool signed him? How does he play? How likely is he to feature for Liverpool this season?

it took Tsimikas more than a year to crack the team and by that point he'd understood what it takes to do the job and was competitive. i imagine the same will be the case for Ramsay, probably take him even longer since he's so young, but Liverpool know the time it might take and what the reward for patience would be.
