Thank you for making this informative video. I will adjust for square via adjusting the fence.
Question #1: my fence is not parallel to it self from left side to right side. There is a slight "catching" when sliding a straight edge from the left fence to the right fence. Any ideas on how to fix that?
Question #2. The positive stop for '0' degrees has play in in it and I must lock it in place. Okay. But where within that play range?

Umm ... Q1) since that pc is forged I'd be careful bending it to the level. It should be parallel. I'd loosen one side and use a mallet checking straightness.
Q2) yes my unit has that same play, for precision cuts I leave it unlocked, square the blade to the fence then lock it. I'm told all saws have that play across all brands... thanks for the question.

Is there anyway to lock or remove that cover so its out of the way?
