I Fixed The Wobbly Stem and Modded My Kugoo M4 Pro Electric Scooter

Hi again peeps, I show you what fixes and mods I have done to my Kugoo M4 Pro.

I have basically eradicated the wobble in the stem using certain tools which I will now link. All for under 15 quid. Please remember this a fix for the M4 Pro ONLY.

You will need 2 of these 12" screwdriver extensions

This 8mm Alan hex bit

And good quality red threadlock

You will also need either an adjustable spanner or a screwdriver handle that can take the hex attachments. This is to turn the extension bars to release the bolt.

This wobble is so common. I have the M4 too and the component between the adjustable Rod and the bottom bar became loose due to riding. It's a design fault the screws become worn from too much movement. I took it to a welder and put two metal plates each side and bolted the two components together so now it acts as one big Rod. Downside is I can't adjust the height but that's minor.

Kugoo M4 Pro is a verry good scooter...I have it for nearly a month....I've already done 120 miles with it and no problems whatsoever...I hope that they will legalize them next year....so we can ride them without any problems on the roads...keep up with the good work!

Hello i bought 680mm handlebars and after putting it i need to ride at the lowest handlebar settings becoue the cables are too short what can i do?

Hello mate, I've tighten the bolt at the end of the stem until the handlebar would become stiffer to turn but the play was still there. Pulled out the bolt, put it back in, even installed a washer at the base of the stem, but still no luck. Until I've notice the most of the play come from the folding macanism. Any idea how to adjust that? Thnx in advance.

dude what handlebar did you get? I have the ienyrid m4 pro s. basically the same scooter. my foldable bars keep coming loose while riding. can you share with me what all you needed to change yours?

Whats the range per charge as im sure 60km isnt right for the 16ah battery?
