ICM and Multiple Exposure

Intentional Camera Movement and Multiple exposure techniques can be fun to try and in this video, I venture out into the woods to shoot a few.
Some worked others didn't but that's not the point of the exercise, the point was to enjoy the experience and if lucky, get a shot.

Hope you enjoy the video and the images created with ICM and Multiple exposure techniques.
Big thumbs up if you do and if you are currently not a subscriber, perhaps consider subscribing.

Thanks for watching.

I just watched Thomas Heaton's recent video where he shares some attempts at ICM. He mentions you and adds a link to your channel. He suggests looking at your ICM work. I am so glad he did. Wow and fantastic come to mind right off. I subscribed after about three minutes. I really like this whole concept and you prove that the results can be wonderful. Thank you for posting this type of video. Thanks, Thomas, for pointing me in Gary's direction.

Well, what coincidences! I began doing multiple exposures over forty years ago after admiring Sam Haskin’s work. It was always doubles, pushing in the clutch to prevent winding on while recocking the shutter. When digital came along the heavens opened! Also with mirrorless cameras, seeing through an electronic viewfinder meant that with ND’s the light gain eased the process immensely. The second coincidence and the added “fun” as you rightly describe it is the ICM, I’ve been at it too since about 2000 and also the influence from Turner, I exhibited one of my works a while back with the title: Turner’s La Guardia (referring to a small town in Northwestern Spain and its harbour in the mist). The third one is the Really Right Stuff ball head!
For street fun I always have a variable ND on me and a memory preset to 50 ISO and the shutter at 1/4 so I can quickly, or should I say slowly, follow people’s movement. Bikes and umbrellas work wonderfully. Anyway enough chatter. Thank you so much for sharing your technique and work with others. Never a dull moment, eh? 😂

Your focus and zoom rings can also be used for the motion. It’s also interesting to split the exposure between steady motion.
