Strange Ancient Artifact Discovered in Turkey

She looks like the seated figure found at Catal Hoyuk and also the sleeping Goddess found in the Malta temple complex. As well as all of the Northern European figurines. I wish we knew more about the Pre IndoEuropean myths about the Mother Goddess. The Eleusinian Mysteries, the beliefs of the Melissae of Artemis Ephesia and the Melissae of Aphrodite would help if we could find more. It’s horrible so much was destroyed.

It's a venus statue we have a lot of them in France dating as far back as 23 000 years ago apparently

This figure isn't anything new. It's literally featured in The Earth
Children series novels. Now this may be a new place where it's been discovered but, it's not a new ancient sculpture. But this is the first I've ever seen with a face. Some scholars believe that ancient people worshipped women or to be more precise fertility.
