And this leads to eventually the amazing Jefferson D'arcy joining the show and making it all the better. I love both Steve and Jefferson but I much prefer Jefferson's character and definitely his bromance with Al and marriage to Marcy.

When I first became aware of this show, it was after Steve’s departure. So I had no clue he even existed. So when I started watching repeats on Sky, I was surprised to learn Marci had a husband in the beginning, and constantly wondered what became of him. Never was too keen on the means of his departure.
