What the conclusion should be is... Don't buy a PC Now... Wait for Ampere/RDNA2 as both of those GPUs will launch before next gen consoles...

At the end of the day I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, the Series X has INSANE specs on paper for the price point they’re trying to achieve, which is most likely $500-600. Real world performance tells a different story though. Still, there’s no way you’re going to be building a pc in that budget range with the same performance of the next-gen consoles. If the specs translate well into real-world, the upcoming generation of consoles is truly going to be something else.

Hey cool video. I would love to see a new video like this in mid or near end of 2021. I think pc parts will then be able to surpass the console hardware by quite a bit. Even on the ssd- archtecture side of things i hope we will see some improvements by then.

I would get a PC in an instant if PlayStation put their exclusives on it like Xbox did.

Basically you CANT build a PC that has similar specs to a PS5 (500$) at launch. Youd have to wait around 2-3 years for parts to become cheap enough.
