Nick is single-handedly filling the gaping void of music for the spooky season.

Also this is one of his funniest and best made to date. Shooting the pumpkin man intruder was hilarious. Great costume design. Nick certainly looked like a man plagued by apparitions of a gourdy ghoul.

This is a poem I wrote about Pumpkin Man after a deep fever vision He gave me in seminary:

Seed me, O lord of squashes.
Seed me, lest the pleasure rot
Breed hard dry skins, which not
About my neck bear crosses;
Only white washes.

Seed me, great orange moon.
Seed me, and grant my candy,
As sterile as fresh brandy,
Wrapped properly in foil cocoon,
My bedside bowl festoon.

Seed me, wet-hand harvest friend.
Seed me, and there at yonder mall,
Bed Bath Beyond and Mart-o-Wal,
A photo take at shopping’s end;
My ocre heart to distend.

That ending has me excited for Pumpkin Man VII: The New Seed where we find out his excreted sloppy seed puddles have all slipped through the cracks in the floors and gestated into new autumnal abominations. He may have finally died, but he will live on.

Being serious, this is a great song. I can always count on you to bring some new Halloween magic to life around this time of year.
