Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to stand in the Conservative Party leadership contest, The Times reports, citing unidentified people. Johnson resigned from the post in July. Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her resignation on Thursday in London. Bloomberg's Guy Johnson discusses the possibility on "Bloomberg Surveillance."

He can be a controversial person in the UK, but from an outsider's point of view, Mr. Johnson was the UK leader, a proactive and effective European leader, the face o Europe, the face o NATO, an exceptional and charismatic communicator, as well as, a respected world leader. He has the lacking qualities the world so much need at this turbulent time in human history. I do hope he comes back to power.

I kinda want boris back it will be funny 😂I do actually miss him and the daily briefings and all the songs people made on YouTube about if your friends ask you should say no and his pepper pig speech he was well iconic 😂I don’t actually care that he had a party. And I didn’t see my mum and dad in months and I got covid early on like one of the first strains and now have heart problems and all that crap he was just a good old guy and funny tbh he literally got covid visiting covid patients I don’t think he ever caused harm on purpose and everyone is so horrified because someone baked him a cake and he said thanks and had a slice. Nobody’s perfect and Liz truss has caused serious damage and it is everyone’s fault that kicked him out tbh over a party cake slice 😂. It’s just silly and now we all have to pay £500 or more a month on our mortgages 😂
