Ukraine Holds Bakhmut = Ukrainian forces bravely and heroically defend a key Eastern City in the Donbas, assuring logistical routes stay open and regional security is maintained
Russia Takes Bakhmut = The City was strategically unimportant, it's nothing but a political victory for Russia and Putin, it will make no difference in the conflict as a whole and Ukraine will take the territory back soon enough

I really enjoy seeing the narrative and story shift for the same location, depending on who is losing/defending it.

They keep talking about Russia becoming exhausted but the maths isn't working Russia still has thousands more men to mobilise and the nation's economy and industry isn't even mobilised to a war footing where Ukraine has had it nothing left to call on
