After nearly 21 years on the air, the longest-running anchor on a national TV morning show has signed off the air.. Robin Meade along with castmates Bob Van Dillen, Jennifer Westhoven, Shyann Malone, Susan Hendricks, Elizabeth Prann, Melissa Knowles, Coy Wire, Andy Scholes and the team who work behind the scenes all said goodbye to viewers of Morning Express on Monday, December 5, 2022.

Robin Meade and the entire Morning Express team I watched every morning through the roughest years of my life and it's actually devastating to not be able to watch the "SUNSHINE" 🌞😎 every morning now. If this was LIVE on YouTube every morning I would be faithfully tuned in. So sad to see it go.

I told people about this show all the time. It was quite possibly the only objective news program left. Someone that could tell you the news without inserting their opinion or having an hour-long roundtable discussion about it. I hope someone with deep pockets can pick this up because on a larger network, this team rivals anyone. I love you guys.

I have been waking up to Robin and crew for almost 20 years and can't imagine mornings without her. I am heartbroken. What a shock for her staff and their families. And right before the holidays! This definitely puts CNN at the bottom of my watch list.

This really hurts!! I'm going to miss Robin so so much. I was glad I got to go on the "Morning Express" tour one time to meet Robin. True was an absolute honor for me. TV will never be the same like this EVER again. Part of my childhood is now gone as well.

I started watching Robin many years ago (wow! She hasn't aged a DAY!!!), and hearing that her show was being canceled was a total shock! What the heck, Mr. Licht?? Why not move her to the regular CNN?? She will be SO missed!!!

This might be a little over the top, but I literally didn't sleep all night because a) I was so upset that Monday would be Robin & team's last day, and b) I didn't want to miss the last episode at 6am on the dot. This is such an unfair move by CNN - yes I understand that their parent needed to find "savings" and conduct "budget cuts", but THIS is where you go to find savings? You gut the most respectable, unbiased, well balanced and enjoyable program on CNN or HLN? Unbelievable.

I’m gonna miss these guys, I didn’t know this was happening till now. I tuned in to watch this morning and I was wondering why forensic files was on instead. This is so sad. 😔
