The Soul, The Spirit & The Structure of Tradition Part 2

Artist talk given during my photography exhibition at Vaknin Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia. I discuss universal features of tradition especially as they relate to the tradition of the painted concrete madonna. I also discuss the genesis of the 26-image series "Grief in Joy's Clothing", a statement of the tradition's previously uncharacterized iconography.
