Porsche Macan: 3D Mapping & Dance Performance

Location: Barvikha Concert Hall (Moscow Region, Russia)

Sila Sveta produced a dynamic performance for the Russian premiere of a brand new Porsche Macan. The show combined live dancers, their projected copies and industrial motion graphics on the central podium and the side screens. The projected cube was lifted at the end of the performance to reveal the new model to the audience.

Very beautiful combination of dancing and video!
But it is not really 3D, since there were no 3D objects that had projetions on them... Also the whole show has almost nothing to do with the car that has been presented XD

Cool. I guess. I highly doubt that this affected anyone's decision on buying this product solely because they saw this video or were at that event. What a waste of money. Would have been cooler or more interesting if the performance wasn't centered around selling a stupid car.

Porsche should sit down, play NFS: Porsche Unleashed, make notes, and finally, rethink what a Porsche should be. Before, Porsche was an icon... Now it's just "generic sports car no. 4. The same goes for any American icon, like the corvette, or... The poor viper. 😒
