If the US did not veto, then there is surely something not right about the deal proposed. 🤔

The UNSC passed resolution in April saying immediate ceasefire for last 2 weeks of Ramadan which Israel refused

Well this was useless considering if one side doesn't stop then the resolution is useless, & this resolution has a lot of gaps which makes it already useless. & Israel never agreed to this & what this useless ambassador said is a flat out lie. They're just shifting the blame to Hamas away from Netanyahu because if Israel ever did accept it then it'll be the end of Netanyahu. So utterly pathetic & completely useless

What is taking the ICC so long to issue arrest warrants against Netanyahu and his affiliates. Deal or no deal Netanyahu and his government must answer for their crimes.

For those who feel something is wrong because usa didn't veto, you are correct
The resolution doesn't include a binding permanent ceasefire, it doesn't acknowledge a Palestinian state, it calls for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from “populated areas” of Gaza (which means they could still have military presence in the outskirts or the areas they evacuated people from !)
It does have those terms - except acknowledge a Palestinian state - in later "phases", but i doubt the occupying entity will honor those phases terms or comply to it when the time comes ..and my proof for that is what they have been doing to this moment of disregarding national law and every human right law
And the way i see it, just not acknowledging a Palestinian state is a sufficient enough reason to refuse the proposal, it's their land in the first place you shameless invaders !, but in the end it's up to the Palestinian people and the resistance to decide what t do

Pity they can't get their act together on an effective ceasefire without the USI dictating terms

How on earth are you supposed to agree to something when there is no detail and Israel haven't committed to this plan

Where's the pressure on Izrael? I don't recall KKhammass to be a member of the UN. They keep making up these conditions on a group that they consider to be terrorist but don't bother to make expectations of a state that is _supposed to be_ a respectable member of the organization.

The ceasefire is 6 week break in exchange for food. And give back all prisoners in Gaza. Nothing else.
