MTA conductor stabbed in torso and leg at Brooklyn train station, police say | News 12

A 60-year-old MTA train conductor is in a medical induced coma after being stabbed by a man at the Utica Avenue train station in Crown Heights Tuesday, according to police. Police say just after 10:40 a.m., the operator attempted to remove the man from the train, who refused to move, and stabbed him multiple times in the leg and torso. Transit officials announced at a news conference that the 27-year-old suspect, who has faced previous a conviction for attacking an MTA employee, attacking a rider on a train with a knife, as well as 14 prior arrests, will be charged with attempted murder. Police have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Jonathan Davalos.
