MTV Taps Twerk Princess Miley Cyrus to Host 2015 VMAs and Rolls out List of Nominees

MTV rolled out the long list of nominees for their 2015 VMAs, but in more important news, we learned Miley Cyrus will be the master of ceremonies.

Miley Cyrus has a few memorable moments at the MTV VMAs and she's about to have a whole lot more. The twerk princess has officially been tapped to host the award show this year which she announced via Instagram yesterday. Cyrus donned a green alien onsie and a sign that read "MTV won't let me perform...so I'm hosting this year's VMAs." MTV this morning dropped the list of nominations and rounding out the pack were Kendrick Lamar with 13, Taylor Swift with 9, Ed Sheeran with 6 and Beyonce with 5.
