Believe it or not, but LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga actually pokes a lot of fun out of the Sequel Trilogy, specifically The Rise of Skywalker. Making even more jokes about the Sith Troopers & how ridiculous that Rey is a Palpatine. Not to mention the Space Horses on the Star Destroyer.

This game doesn’t go nearly “too far” with the Sequel jabs lol, Rise of Skywalker in particular seems to get it the most and it was pretty obvious that they took zero risks and just followed the bean counters with that one.

It's kind of interesting you can almost see the writers' opinion on the sequels, especially tRoS.
Like with the prequels even the most they do is like, poking a little fun at the cheesy lines in AotC or something.
Then it's just like "lol why would she be a palpatine??? Why is palpatine even back? Rose does literally nothing."
I really think they would have gone further if they weren't y'know. Scrutinized by Disney.

They weren’t in space though. They were in a planets atmosphere

The star destroyers are obviously still in the atmosphere though right? Like they came from below the surface of the planet and they're not THAT high up. We know the planet has an atmosphere because not only is the sith arena open, both Rey and Ben walk into the citadel without any breathing aids. And, yknow, they're still in the clouds, which are visible. We even see a wide shot of the whole thing when palpatine uses his dubstep powers.

They weren’t running across the star destroyer in space, they were doing it in-atmosphere on a ship holding position. That’s perfectly reasonable, like running on top of a skyscraper

They poke fun at every trilogy like this. There are lines that are pretty much exactly the same for the second Death Star in ROTJ.

Honestly cool vehicles and troopers getting very little screen time is something Star Wars does a lot. We saw that a lot of the PT with something like the Hailfire droid only showing up in Episode 2.

The kylo ren line highlights the single biggest flaw of the rise of skywalker: all the skywalkers die and a palpatine remains the last one standing.
