I praise the dog, he knew something was wrong and wouldn’t stop or leave until people came to help.

For those curious:
As it turns out, this guy wasn't even aware that the baby existed, and what actually happened was the baby's mother's family was Jewish, and the grandmother feared that her daughter having an illegitimate child would damage her (the grandmother's) standing in the community. To that end, she threatened to completely disown her daughter if she didn't get rid of the baby, before basically exiling her until this blew over.
In the end, the baby does pull through (in a brief crossover with "Chicago Med"), and the grandmother is arrested in a very public, and very satisfying way. (the father plays no role in the story after this)

Seeing Voight's face when he finds the baby. U can c the sorrow in his eyes, despite him being the toughest officer on the team. He probably thinks about his dead son every time he sees the body of a child, & the pain the parents might feel.

Utterly amazing how many laws the cops break on this show, it's almost like a competition to see how unrealistic they can make it.

When Voight said he'll do something he won't regret even if it cost him his job you better tell him the truth as he will do what he says especially when a child is involved.

I’m glad I’m a woman bc the anxiety of not knowing if you have a kid out there is terrifying to me. Even if you use protection all the time accidents still happen and if she doesn’t tell you, you will never know. That’s horrifying!

I feel like he could have done just like a tiny amount of investigation before flying off the handle like that. they had no evidence that he even knew he had a kid and so they basically just threatened and assaulted a guy who just found out the daughter he didn't know he had almost died.

3:29 I immediately thought of Grey’s Anatomy.
“She’s not dead until she’s warm and dead.”

The dog barking knew that WASN'T a bomb - but a baby. Dogs know those things.

seeing dead/injured children really takes a toll on first responders. It stays with them forever

I'm new to Chicago Med/PD/Fire. But, I think it's cool how all 3 tie into each other and overlap. Really cool

Really cool how Hank started choking the horrified unknowing father! Really shows what this show is all about

Some men never know they have kids. I don't think he did it either. Wish I could see the full episode

The way hanks face shifted at 0:41 was not only really good acting. But it shows that despite being an intimidating man, he does express emotion sometimes, and it shows how concerned he is for the poor babies life

I haven't watched a single episode of Chicago pd but from these short videos, it seems that Voight is always emotional when kids are involved.

I personally love when the med and pd work together on the show

It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to see parents or family members, whether it's in a TV show or in real life, throw away their own kids like they're a piece of trash...

5:13 You can't do that. While he let you in to talk, that does not give permission to search. Anything you find will be inadmissible in court. Idiots...
5:48 "How about no."
6:35 I would like to consult with an attorney before going any further. (Of course, I wouldn't have consented in the first place).
7:00 "Good luck figuring out my password."
7:25 "This is assault and I have witnesses. See you in court."
7:50 A coerced statement.

Momma's baby, daddy's maybe. Great job tracking down dad! Excellent lead. Doesn't mean the man knows a damn thing. What if you're telling some kid he has a kid, and oh, yeah, it's dead? JFC.
