This last weekend I finally got to use my new HTA86 with an AP300S battery. It exceeded my expectations. I spent 4-5 hours trimming up coast redwoods and the battery still had 2 bars left when I was done. Very light weight (I removed the lanyard after the first few branches), easy to use, and powerful enough to plow through branches that hinged instead of snapping and dropping. Less than a day of limbing has created 3 days of chipping.

I have the HTA85 and the oval extension shaft can get rotated just a touch so that it can cause some binding, which makes it a little harder to extend or retract. But as soon as you center it, it's fine. It's a fantastic tool. I've had no problems with it in my 3 years of light, residential usage. I think the square tube is better but that alone won't justify an upgrade.

Does the AK 20 battery work with these saws? If not what pole saw works with and AK 20?
