Did the Essenes Vanish? | Josh Peck

We’re the Prophecy Watchers. We have a long history of working to bring the truth of Bible prophecy to an audience of Christian believers who may not have local access to sound prophetic teaching, based upon the inspired writings of the Apostles and the traditional doctrine concerning the rapture of the church. Though we don’t believe in setting dates, it is clear that the rapture of the church is imminent, perhaps much nearer than we think.

40 years ago, my mom was taking Bible classes for a degree. She’d share a lot about what she was learning overall. When she was studying the Essenes, she very soberly looked at me one day and said, “You know, I think they just became Christians.” Yay Mom! 😃 My goodness, the conversations we’d have THESE days. ❤

Yesterday I was watching the American Vindicta YouTube channel. Doug mentioned the Essenes and Greg Peck. The interesting part he talked about was the accuracy of the Essenes. I don’t believe in coincidences so I thank Jesus Christ for lining up this video today. I just wanted to acknowledge how God works.

WOW!! 😮 This adds more dimension to The Scriptures; not adding to the Word itself, but coloring in what’s already been written 👍🏼

That makes sense...not destroying the Word, they put them in a place of preservation. Seems Isaiah was read most and worn out the most! That's how they recognized Jesus/Yehua as Lord!

I actually think John the Baptist was expecting JESUS to get him out of prison….. ‘came to set the captives free’ thing like… 🤔🤔🙋🏼‍♀️💜🙌🥰

Maybe the “three year thing”, the time Paul spent in Arabia with Jesus, better connects with the three years Jesus spent with the other apostles. Paul’s apostleship was continually challenged. But he did signs, wonders, and miracles just like the other apostles (2Cor12:12), he saw the risen Christ just like the other apostles (1Cor15:5-8), and he spent three years being taught by Jesus just like the other apostles.

I was just watching Jamie Walden who was a Marine, LEO, paramedic … now a pastor sharing what God put on his heart with pastor Faircloth. Jamie Walden has a YouTube channel and in his latest video he too was talking about the Essenes. He spoke highly of them. The truth of the matter is Jesus Christ is Lord and who we are focusing on or should be.

The essenes were not Christians. Jesus was a Jewish man. Jesus of Nazarene was Jewish.

Hudson Taylor coined that term "the great commission" under 200 years ago. It's not in the Bible at all. The twelve apostles never went far, especially when they couldn't provoke those cold hearts that sat in the seat of Moses to repent before they murdered Stephen in cold blood, bringing in the 5th course of judgement over Israel in Acts 7. God set the elect nation aside stalling Daniel's 70th week, and their earthly kingdom promises and went direct to the gentiles far and wide by a conspicuous young man mentioned in verse 58 of that same chapter. Ever since, Satan has had a hand in twisting and bending what Paul preached by blenderizing it with law abiding Israel. Rabbi Tobias Singer was smart enough to say it was Paul who totally invented Christianity, but dumb enough not to notice that after Paul's death, his churches he started were quickly filled with corrupt men trying every which way to see how they might steal back the priesthood from Israel and foist its dominance over the peasants of their time. Paul preached "one Lord, one faith, and one baptism" by the Holy Spirit (and not men) and we can see by 160 AD Turtullian was debating the absolute *requirement for infant water baptism* so that from cradle to grave a new priesthood would arise to bring men into their captivity. So it goes with religion, and evidence exists to show the remnants of those like the Essenes quickly brought in water cleansing to the growing Pauline churches. Bondage is just what Satan needed to bring in works based salvation to corrupt an otherwise Pauline free grace gospel. They stepped back to the previous law abiding dispensation in Acts 2:38 to be water cleansed *for the remission of sin* and today the Evan-Jelly-cal industrial complex will flip it and tell you you don't need to be water baptized to be saved, but you have to do it satisfy membership requirements in their local clicks who also foist tithing upon peasants just like old Israel. Live Pauline, rightly divide scripture and don't blenderize law and grace, that's been the best solution. BTW, the Essenes were fanatical over water Mikvah traditions, so go ahead, do some works, dunk and get wet like the rest of the fools in churchianity. That's what we've come to..
