Stan Getz was and remains, one of the best saxos there ever were in Jazz. His velvet sound is one not to be missed. Fantastic, really. Unique. Unforgettable artist. 🤗🎶👍❤️🙏

Kenny Barron brings out the best in Stan. Two masters from 1989.

Blessed to know his Nephew . Dan Getz. Great drummer.
Not sure if he is still with us. He was battling heart disease. If your out there Dan. Blessings to you and your wife. We had some great jams

Too bad the poster did not post the whole CD, which is Stan Getz's best ever and a masterpiece. The good news is that this is one of best tracks in the "Bossas and Ballads - The Lost Sessions."

I place Stan Getz up there with the best tenor sax players, such as John Coltrane, Lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Sonny Rollins, Charles Lloyd and Pharaoe Sanders.
