I've always liked that feeling of seeing the train light in the distance, flashing in the dark, and knowing it's coming towards you.

All the london underground trains have reverse, the need the permission of the line controller to do that and with that procedure there is additional staff needs for that to take place. Other safer way ro go bank into the staion is to change ends and that take 8 mins to do, no an option in the peek, Ex LUL Driver

I thought the first thing they'd teach him was how to go on strike.

The trains have autopilot on mostly, so there is sometimes no need to do any of this. Also, that is the most outdated simulator that I have seen and it costs

you mean a 180. 180 makes you go the opposite direction. 360 just makes you turn in a circle and go back the way you came.

Seems like it would be a good idea to make the trains so they can't exceed the set speed limit for a given area, not stop faster than a certain rate except in an emergency, stop automatically on the right spot instead of the driver having to worry about getting it juuuust right, etc.

Is London's single-ride fee, still the most expensive in the world?
It used to be 130% costlier than N.York's metro a few years back!
Dude, I'd be furious...

Watched a documentary from the Tube in the 60's. They didn't have issues back than with stopping in the right position since computers drove the trains. The drivers just sat there and watched. Driver less trains. Whatever happened to them?
