In an age where security vulnerabilities have a brand, like heartbleed, shellshock and poodle, it is time for a renaissance in infrastructure security. The way to truly secure the Internet is through automatic software updates and security patches. We’ve already seen the success in the browser world with Google Chrome and the smart-phone world with automatic updates to apps. And now, we are finally able to deliver this on the server level. We will discuss how the future of web-scale infrastructure is on its way to becoming fully updated and secured, and discuss how this is possible with new distributed systems and application container components.
