My New FM23 Save

Streamed Friday, October 21th, 2022 -- It is time, we will be starting our first save on FM23 chasing glory that illuded us in the previous versions of Football Manager. This won’t be a save about Wonderkids but a save about quick success since you shouldn’t start long saves during the FM beta. It’s a shame, but a smart thing to do because Football Manager is trying to work out bugs at this point. This is me telling you to look out for that if you are not already.

Ocampos is such a great player man, I think it’s a shame he went to us because he’s just completely wasted at our club. I know I'll get lost in the sea of comments, but I want to share this with you nevertheless.

I think think that it would be a great idea if you would consider doing a NK Hajduk Split (Croatia's 1th league) for your next full save.

Now, hear me out, this isn't your typical suggestion made by a fan. It's true, I am a fan since birth, but that's not why I'm suggesting this.

There are two reasons why you should consider Hajduk Split:
1) If you ever visit Split like you did Vienna, those people will worship you as a God. There are no greater fanatics in the world of football than Torcida (club ultras) and general public of Dalmatia (coastal Croatia). We have a saying that we value more than constitution. "Hajduk lives forever, God and nobody else!"
Great for new mechanics of fan expetations in FM23.
2) Hajduk was famous trought the 70s for their high press, high line, aggressive offside trap style of football. They were then coached by the greatest Croatian footballing mind of all time - Tomislav Ivić (the man took fishermans and metal workers and took them to champions league quarter final with one goal away from semis). It was simmilar to gengenpress today in defence, but in attack, it was midfielders that would drift wide to cross and they would always cross to near post. It could prove a very interesting approach to tactics in this era of FM which tends to favorize a higher deffensive line.
The club's history and legacy is rich which is a bit different than FAC, but still worth exploring.
