My Military assigned instructor, had built a permanent freestanding, doorway size, 2 column modular brick spiral, which continued on with their overhead spiral arch, back in 1973. Overheard him telling another visiting carpentry instructor... "The students who ask the most questions about how I'd built this arch... are the students most likely to go on becoming an earning mason. This was a buildings trade program called "Project Transition" which helped train we soldiers who were going back into civilian life & give us a better chance of securing a job in the building trades, through these introductory 2 week classes. Landed me in the custom brick home trade from '75 to '82.

Hi Stu being a brickie myself i would say its between the spiral pillar and the radius and lintel work.
To pick one I would say the spiral pillar because as you know this could take a bit more time and effort.
