I have to imagine the “dated” look you point out was entirely intentional for this.

The prices for lego star wars are absurd. It absolutely suck!

They also made the body and face print deliberately weathered looking

$40 is actually insane. Especially when you consider the most recent starfighter we had was $30

That’s a $20 set. No way am I paying full price for this.

Playscale single-seat vehicle + minifigure = 30 USD

Lego made Anakin's Custom Jedi Starfighter back in 2015 and it was $40 at launch too. Say what you want about it feeling like too much for what you get, but for this model starfighter to fight 9 years of inflation to keep the same price and remain a similar size is impressive

I dont think it looks dated personally, i really prefer when lego has more studs than tiles so you can actually pose figures wherever you want, whether it makes sense or not

This is a $20 dollar set, maybe 25. 40 for a very small ship and two figures is insane

I love that it’s reminiscent of Anakin’s original modified starfighter from the 2003 Clone Wars series. Such a cool look with the twin engines up front.

It still suffers from the major problem modern Lego Delta-7 Jedi Starfighters suffer from - the cockpit is way too high with those sheer walls on the side. I know it's partly a byproduct of the style first being made for Delta-7bs that have raised canopies and the fact that Lego's way of adapting the arrowhead shape with the "wings" is inaccurate, but as someone who loves that ship, I needed to do some sizable modifications to the most recent Obi-Wan one to have it get the proper transition.

It's cool that it takes inspiration from the Azure Angel, Anakin's customized Delta-7 from Legends, but it's not faithful to the bodywork of that either. That said, I'm happy to see that they're trying to fix the major gap problem these ships have been gaining.

I'm probably going to get this set anyways, but it's a confused mess of Jedi Starfighter variants, but not in a good way.

hum... so nostalgia is worth, about 10 dollars/euros ? so it should've been 30 dollars/euros, right ?

I'm thinking about getting it;
and I've seen Jedi Bob does have an alternate face that matches his original minifigure's face!

Jang can you do a Vid on the Price of SW sets since they came out. I think you, and the community will be surprised to find they are not nearly as expensive as everyone thinks they are. Specially PPP, specially the change in average PPP the last 25 years.
