Tree falling over power lines (Spokane windstorm 2015)

A tree snapping during a windstorm and coming down across some power lines.

I remember this storm. I live a couple miles east of Deer Park, was in my front yard when it hit. There’s forest across the road, went out to the end of my driveway to listen as dozens of branches and whole trees cracked and snapped. Turned back to look at the house, and the entire front gutter had been ripped off except for a couple screws, and it was dangling from the roof, flailing around on the lawn like a distressed snake. Stayed inside for the rest of the storm, didn’t have power for nearly two weeks.

Tonight we are under a wind advisory of up to 60mile per hour winds and for some reason youtube is recommending this video. I still remember how scary the storm was and how cold the house got after 5 days of no electricity. God I hope it doesn't happen again.
