when my husband died of cancer two days later every single night my security alarm would go off at random times, I had the company come and check it out, they said it was absolutely fine, at the same time the kitchen light would sometimes go off by themselves, and cabinets would open, the last straw before I moved to the house I live in now was a ball from my son's ball pitt was throw (not rolled) at me in mid air when all my kids were at my mom's house, and I was completely home alone. Now during all this time I would save my house, and everything would stop for 2-3 days but slowly started again. After the ball thing, I moved out. That scared me so much I got a hotel room for me and my dog. After I moved I never had a problem. I don't think it was my husband that passed, I think something was taking advantage of it, because at first I was acknowledging it, thinking it was him, and that was my mistake because things got worse

I have 6 different ghostly stories that definitely happened. You can't take unexplainable events, witnessed by a lot of people at the same time, and ignore the FACT that the phenomenon did occur.
One of the ghostly happenings occurred over a 5 year period in a psychiatric hospital. There were MANY witnesses, on different shifts, but most of the happenings occurred at night. The hospital was built next to, and on top of, an Indian burial site. We had a few non-believers UNTIL they to, witnessed something for themselves with other people around witnessing the same exact thing. You can NOT discount 8 people witnessing a chair fly up off the ground and slamming to the floor, or a Christmas tree that jumped up off the ground and flew across the Day Room, throwing ornaments and tinsel everywhere. (One of the non-believers witnessed that one night, along with 7 others nurses.) She became a believer and apologized to those of us who already knew about the strange occurrences. How do people just discount eye witnesses, especially when many people see it, experience it and hear it at the EXACT same time? And what is stated here is only a tip of the iceberg. In that particular hospital, the spirits never felt harmful in any way, unlike the evil spirits that haunted a different psych one where I lost my grandmother's gorgeous diamond ring.🥺😢
It doesn't matter to me whether people believe me or not because I know what we all experienced, HAPPENED.

the one about older pictures having 'ghostly' images can actually be explained away by the equipment used, some of the cameras left a faint imprint of previous photos and it sometimes bled through into newer photos

I woke up to go to the bathroom one night in my moms house and coming back to my bedroom I opened my eyes and saw a transparent figure about the same height as me. I closed my eyes, threw my fists up and it was gone. For context my dad and his dad died in the same spot in that house. I was 21 when that happened. Scared the absolute shit out of me.

I have my own real life ghost story. I was working in a tiny restaurant my mother managed. I was the dishwasher and janitor, anyway I was cleaning the dishes when one of the salt shakers just exploded. I pulled it out of the sanitizer machine and walked back the sink which was 3 feet away and it exploded. To this day I swear that place is haunted

My grandfather died in what used to be my room. Now I'm in one of my brothers rooms and sometimes my brothers say that they've woken up in the middle of the night only to see our dogs staring at the corner of the room growling at nothing. It is believed in certain cultures that dogs can see spirits. Not saying I believe in ghosts but just giving out some information
