For those confused. They see his jacket because he is wearing mostly white. Something not advised since it makes you harder to spot in an emergency. They stopped him because they didn’t want someone just walking on the slope, they didn’t notice the skates.

We used to have "Gleitschuhe" as Kids which translates to gliding shoes... almost like ice skates but with a flat steal base instead of blades. They were awesome...

Genuine question from a desert dweller here: Why do people wear white when out in the snow doing activities? Dont you want to be more visible just in case you get burried or injured?

I was going to buy these not to use at a resort to replace skiing or snowboarding but I live on a hill in Canada. Thought it would be fun on a stormy day to go down the hills just fooling around before I have to shovel my driveway. NL canada can get dumped on sometimes. You either accept it and enjoy it as much as you can or be miserable for most of the year. I choose to have fun with it. Dress warm and get out there😁❤️
