Thank you for being straight to the task at hand. I hate when people give their whole life story on tutorial videos.

YouTube has everything!!!! I spent $70 on 2 sets of scrubs and a scrub jacket; the tops all had the job monogram on it. Well, the job didn't work out and I was going to take them to the seamstress in the neighborhood to see if she could get the monogram off. Well, found this video, worked perfectly!

Thank you for taking the time to make this video!!! It gave me confidence to remove a logo from a sweatshirt, and following your method worked perfectly!

What about when it has a piece of cloth between the back of the embroidery and the inside of shirt itself? I have some really nice/expensive scrubs from an old job and I really want to get their logo out without ruining the top. But the embroidery has this cut out piece of white cloth. I’m no seamstress so I don’t know what it’s called.
Anything to save these scrubs haha

This is extremely helpful as I have a few polo shirts from my former employer that I can wear but have their logo embroidered on.

Nice video. I've just gotten rid of a couple of patches on a nice looking, warm jacket from a paratransit company. Now, it looks like a nice looking, warm, regular jacket. Thanks for the idea in this video!

This is just what I was looking for I have some shirts from my former job, I really liked and didn’t want to throw Them away. Also is there away to just get a new patch with designs and just cover the old embroidery?

This is perfect, doing it to a work jacket too.

Very helpful thank you! I figured out that this also works on embroidery designs where the satin stitching is on both sides (e.g. you can’t see the bobbin stitching but a razor still works just fine to cut up all the satin stitching on the back)

Also if you working with average shirt or thinner fabric, be very careful with the razor bc it’s easier than you think to cut a hole in the fabric. Learned this the hard way even though I thought I was being careful 😅
