I like how the cookbook thing isn't a request anymore, it's a demand.

I have heard this joke so many times and it still hurts to try to understand it.

Mrs Columbo is EXACTLY the type of person to make a cookbook. She also would probably sell it only to independent retailers because “she’s not really into franchises, you know. Goes against her personal philosophy”

Why do they call it _OVEN_ when you
"of IN" the _cold_ food,
"of OUT" _hot, _ eat the food?

It comes from Old English "ofen", a receptacle in which food is cooked by continuous heat radiated from the structure, from Proto-Germanic "ukhnaz", from Proto Indo-European "aukw", cooking pot, originally, perhaps, something hollowed out.

Skeletor will return with more facts of dubious desire.

There’s just something about that sentence, where for a split second it sounds like an actual coherent thought, but then your brain actually processes it.

My dad pointed out the continued use of the "This Old Man" tune playing in every episode of Columbo and it gets me every time I hear it

"y'know what else is strange? i'm starting to smell toast. is anyone here cooking toast?"

The way Columbo *commands* him to sign his wife's cookbook fucking kills me.

This man really held a man capture because he wanted his wife’s cookbook signed.

This has gotta be the best one of them all, the fantastic juxtaposition of the gibberish sentence followed immediately by his nonchalant “Just seems a little strange”

So that's what the Columbo dimension is really like...

This makes me giddy. Columbo is eternal and this proves it.

I could hear it a thousand times and still have no idea what it means but completely agree with it.

At this point all of my knowledge of Columbo comes entirely from the limnal space that is Gianni videos. I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

I love Columboposting. I started watching columbo like 5 years back when my dad told me about it, but now it's getting famous (I presume from people watching it on Peacock) and that's made me so happy. Columbo is a gift that should be shared with the world.
