This is going to sound a little weird but put a layer of glowstone around the collectors before you put down the pedistals. While the tier 3 collectors do function at night it's with slightly less efficiency than during day, and setting the pedistals directly on the collector should also slow it down pre watch boost. Adding the glowstone ensures your power flower operates at full power no matter the time of day or sky access making the watches tick acceleration that much better.

If your modpack has integrated dynamics, take a look at the squeezer recipes. Blaze powder en prismarine have quite good ratios and is MU CH faster then collectors.

Thank you! This is one of the most overpowered things you can make. It takes a bunch of EMC which is easily available through trading but in the end you'll get so much more

This is a really good guide! A question though, as somebody that is new to the mod: This is a incredibly expensive thing to build EMC-wise. Wouldn't the amount of EMC required to build that nearly dwarf the EMC requirement of whatever you were planning to use it for in the first place? Like building a thermonuclear generator to power your house because you couldn't afford a dozen solar panels?

(PRE 1.14 VERSIONS ONLY) I have discovered an even better way to generate EMC: by using the EMC generator shown (even a less powerful version using only Mk.1 collectors and relays + no watches) you can then duplicate wheat to an amount large enough to solve world hunger. This wheat can then be traded to villagers for emeralds, which have a MUCH higher EMC value than any amount of wheat.(For example 17 wheat = 407 EMC, but you can trade this for a 16, 000 EMC EMERALD.) You can then use these emeralds to either use as extra fuel for an item duplication or use them in the transmutation table to gain dark/red matter very quickly, as roughly 8 emeralds makes 1 dark matter. However this works best on pre-1.14 versions as it uses the old villager mechanics and trades refresh very quickly.

as far as i know you dont need to power the flowing watch of time if its on pedestal you only need to power it for use in your inventory

So how do I get it so it makes an emerald block a second? my friend did that with this design but somehow it didn't do the same for me, it's 2 seconds (yes I have a pedistal on each side of the glowstone things idr the name)
